So, i’ve been lazy at writing and uploading photos so I best get to the point.

Day 33 was pretty much a write-off. Spent most of it swearing at the underground trains and sitting on a train to Edinburgh.

Bonus of arriving, I got to go for a walk with Addy around the xmas market and managed to see my first Apple store and get a replacement charger.

Day 34

First day of exploring Edinburgh I managed to squeeze in ALOT of things. With google and Addy’s suggestions I set off to Carlton hill.

Next stop after some google mapping was Arthurs Seat. Which was alot longer to do that I though. But It had amazing views and was great exercise on a chilly Scotish morning.

I think i’ve had a bit of a mind fuck from Tibet. Everything seems to be easier to walk compared to casual exercise in Tibet.

The snicker shot that I couldn’t resist.

After a pain in the knees walk down I headed off to Edinburgh Castle before Sundown, at 4.30pm. Shit it gets dark here early.

Sadly I have come to realise that most of the cool indoor things abroad you can’t take photos of.

But at least on the way back to meet Addy I could get some night photos of the city.

Finished off the night with dinner with Adelaide’s family which was great food and with great company.

Day 35

Pretty slow day. Pretty much just went walking around Edinburgh and sorting out my next few days in Scotland with a tour company. First thing up was a stop at Timberbush Tours to book my 3 day Isle of Skye, Highlands and Lock Ness tour.

Met Addy for lunch at the gallery she works at then more walking. Stops for the day was Grassmarket and Dean Village.

It was about now that I remember the Lee Evan’s joke from years ago. “When you want to go somewhere in Edinburgh, you go up a hill. When you want to go home, you still walk a fucking Hill !!” Couldn’t be more true.

End of the night Adelaide treated me to a roast dinner, well above the grade of food if I was cooking myself or eating out.

Next day/update, Isle of Skye!
