Last day in Edinburgh was a nice. Scored some great weather yet again and was perfect for walking around.

Went down to Leith Walk which is the longest road in Edinburgh. Pretty nice walk with a big shopping mall at the end.

After the wee walk at 1deg I caught the bus back into the city centre to check out the music store “LiveMusic” that I saw the night before whilst killing time during the carols. They had some nice lefty stuff, an old 50’s Guild acoustic and a ’74 Baldin bass guitar. Took a few photos on the way back of a few hotels and the University.

Addy cooked an amazing Mac ‘n Cheese followed by flapjacks. Even got to join in on the flat tradition of watching Made in Chelsea.

Day 41

Its the day to head off to Norway. Finally got to catch the oh-so-loved Edinburgh tram system. Was pretty good, but was so damn slow compared to the German ones.

My Airport streak seems to unbroken with a great checkin and even managed to use up all the annoying British coins. Was even treated by the local primary school singing Christmas songs.

Once on the plane (as I would come to realise) they were playing were typical Norwegian cinema, Tom and Jerry.

It was the exact landing I wanted, smooth landing, snow on the hills and frost everywhere. Upon landing it was a warm -6.

And the day pretty much finished up by the time we got back from Oslo to MjĂžndalen where Anders and Janet live. With a sunset time of 3.30pm its a hard thing to get used to.
